چکیده

A single point cutting tool is modeled out of two different materials having desired thermoelectric properties. The material used B4C doped with compositions Titanium Carbide. In the present work, three on both sides made by tungsten carbide. range composition boron carbide (B4C) was selected randomly 0-12.5%, 0-25.4% and 12.5 – 25.4% first half second respectively. simulation process done in ANSYS 2020 R2 software, thermal-electric module (TEM) used. From these studies it evident that considerable cooling effect achieved found to be lowest temperature 14.960C observed for B4C, 18.790C 0- 12.5%B4C 26.730C 12.5-25.4% at junction which nearer tip Finally concluded one side without any doping other showed good results conducting number simulations levels iterations titanium turning operation.

Stabilization of boron carbide via silicon doping.

Boron carbide is one of the lightest and hardest ceramics, but its applications are limited by its poor stability against a partial phase separation into separate boron and carbon. Phase separation is observed under high non-hydrostatic stress (both static and dynamic), resulting in amorphization. The phase separation is thought to occur in just one of the many naturally occurring polytypes in ...
